People generally think that every news or update on a news channel or news website, it’s hundred percent true. Remember one thing, the goal of news channels is to show you the news, not the truth. Read it again.

News channels work on the concept of negativity bias, which means the more negative and sensational the news is, the more views it will have. The goal is not to deal with the topic and conduct evidence-based research, but to add fuel to the fire. For brief information on this topic, please read my full blog and understand the risk factors behind the heart. Attacks. But when it comes to exercise, physical inactivity and obesity are one of the main risk factors for developing coronary artery disease.

And exercise that includes resistance and strength training is the top recommendation of all the world’s top medical bodies, including the European Society of Cardiology, US NIH, UK NHS, Medical Association India and many more. On the other hand, there is a complete disconnect between news headlines

and the content they represent. In most cases, the only authentic source of health-related information on these media portals is doctors. I have seldom seen any news channel or website that offers research studies or supporting evidence, especially in India. The advice is not to suddenly overdo it if you’ve never exercised before.

Well, anyone who has exercised for any length of time knows the simple fact that you can’t just overdo it. Your muscles and joints are not ready. Your neuromuscular performance is too low.

The workouts are always progressive. That means you always start small and gradually increase the intensity and volume over weeks and months. This applies to any type of training regime, be it strength training or resistance training. On the other hand, there is no evidence that these actors suffered a heart attack because they worked at a certain intensity. If that were the case, half of the world’s population would have died out, especially athletes, soldiers, farmers, day laborers, and many more.

A study on marathon runners found that even after completing extreme races, athletes’ blood samples contained biomarkers associated with heart damage. These signs of damage usually go away on their own, but when the heart is repeatedly subjected to extreme physical exertion, the temporary damage can lead to heart remodeling.

In addition, the research found evidence that high-intensity exercise can acutely increase the risk of sudden cardiac arrest or sudden cardiac death in people with underlying heart conditions. It can also increase the risk of cardiac arrests, especially for the minority suffering from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy or coronary artery disease. It means that if you have cardiac complications then you should not do heavy intense exercise but do light exercise.

What happens if you do not exercise?

Every day there happens a lot of road accidents all over the globe. Does it mean that we will stop going out and sitting at our home? No! We have to go out and do our jobs. Just like that, you will have to exercise regularly. If you do not exercise then there are high chances of cardiac arrests. There will be many problems in your body, such as –

  • The heart becomes less efficient: Your heart becomes less efficient. Exercise keeps the heart pumping and active. Regular aerobic and cardiovascular exercise is associated with a good heart rate and a reduced risk of heart disease. However, if you don’t exercise or spend a lot of time without any form of physical activity, you will start to fail your heart and this will affect everyday tasks. Increased heart problems and cholesterol levels.
  • Your muscles will weaken: One of the exercises of the most important functions performed is to keep muscle cells in good condition and make them stronger. Not exercising or not exercising will not only reverse any progress you’ve made previously, but it will also reduce your muscle strength and make you feel a lot weaker.

In short, your muscles weaken and you then lose most of the muscles

needed for breathing and those that facilitate movement. Even lifting simple weights can seem more difficult, and muscle function may not remain as powerful or useful as it once was. Weak muscles can also make it difficult for you to complete everyday tasks and activities. You may have trouble sleeping well at night.

  • Hardly will you get good sleep: Believe it or not, exercise has a significant relationship to good sleep quality, and if you’re not getting both sleep and exercise, you’re putting yourself at risk of poor health. If you exercise intensely or go to bed tired after a fast run, chances are you’re enjoying a good night’s sleep and waking up feel energetic. This is the fundamental role exercise plays in facilitating sleep. And if you don’t move or stretch these muscles, you risk your sleep. Not only is exercise a great stress reliever and sleep inducer, but poor sleep can also be a sign that you’re skimping on the physical activity you need. For the day. One of the most important tasks of training is to keep your muscle cells in good shape and to make them stronger.
  • Endurance level goes down: Exercise builds stamina and lets you gain stamina. And if you don’t train, you run the risk of wiping out all your gains and becoming relatively weaker in a very short period. Remember resistance counts as a key. When their VO2 levels (amount of oxygen exercised during vigorous exercise) were compared to the time it took to complete only simple exercise, it was found that they had a whopping 11.2% level drop. With significantly less physical activity, the decline could be even more shocking.

The Raju Srivastava Incident: When the country woke up to the news of another shocking heart attack, this time from famous Indian comedian Mr. Raju Srivastava, the question on everyone’s lips was again: what the hell is going on? Why do people get heart attacks so often? Although Raju Srivastava is almost 60 years old, we are seeing an increase in the phenomenon among a much younger population, not just in India but around the world.

The increasing incidence of heart attacks in today’s generation is mainly due to unhealthy dietary habits, smoking, poor physical training regimes, obesity, poor sleep, and increased stress both at work and in the home environment. This leads to the development of cholesterol blockage in the blood vessels. Of the heart, which can burst under physical stress and lead to a heart attack. However, this phenomenon cannot occur if there is no pre-existing blockage. Therefore, it is appropriate to check or asses your health status before doing high-intensity physical work. Such as specific blood tests, echocardiograms, treadmill tests, or sometimes CT coronary angiography may be helpful. In identifying patients with asymptomatic heart blocks.

According to Raju Srivastava’s MRI report, doctors found that the nerves in his brain were suppressed and he had some serious underlying health conditions. It was also revealed that the comedian had already had 9 stents placed. During angiography, the doctors also determined that the constipation was 100 percent. The media reported that the comedian was already suffering from heart disease. Doctors also stated that previously Raju Srivastava had been under angioplasty twice. These had been the third angioplasty Srivastava has gone under.

Why celebrities and superstars are having frequent heart attacks these days?

Now it is very evident to ask why celebrities and superstars are having frequent heart attacks these days. Recently, Kannada film Industry’s superstar Puneeth Rajkumar (47), the actor Siddharth Shukla (40), and Singer KK (53) lost their lives to heart attacks. Last year BCCI President and eminent cricketer Sourav Ganguly faced a heart attack and had to go under angioplasty.

When Puneeth Rajkumar was working out at the gym that morning, he went into cardiac arrest. Although he was immediately taken to the hospital, he could not be saved. Siddharth Shukla passed away in his sleep and very recently KK passed away after a high-octane performance in Calcutta. According to the Cardiology Society of India, a heart attack in India takes between 35 and 50 years every minute. 25 percent of all people who die of heart failure are under 35 years old. It used to be said that older people were more prone to heart attacks.

But this notion no longer applies as young people are victims of it. If some health experts are to be believed, it’s the longer duration of exercise that has made young people more susceptible to heart attacks. Nowadays a common practice can be observed among young people. To have an attractive hero figure, they spend more time in gyms.

They don’t stop here. They also take different types of steroids to achieve the desired result. This is where they make mistakes. Taking steroids can be deadly, health experts warn. A recent survey shows that 30,000 gym goers use steroids and what surprises many is that 73% of them are between the ages of 16 and 35.

Most actors and actresses are under a lot of stress not only because of work but also because of the uncertainty in their careers. Night shoots that go on for days without a break. Pressure to maintain a certain physique or appearance, being in public, lack of sleep, poor eating habits, over-reliance on stimulants, excessive smoking and drinking, and underlying medical conditions (of which they are unaware) are some of the many reasons that can lead to cardiovascular disease.

If we take the case of Raju Srivastava, he had a heart attack while running on a treadmill and he might have had the same if he ran outside. The same goes for strength training. Where you train has nothing to do with heart attacks.
