Even after exercising, we may notice our body gaining a lot of weight. This gaining of weight may be an outcome of the food we eat. Several foods contribute to extra weight because of their calorie content and carbohydrate content.

This food can also be a part of our regular diet which we don’t know contributes to our extra weight. Maintaining a balanced diet is as much as necessary as doing exercise. If we intake the number of calories that we burn in the gym then the result will always remain zero. To lose weight, we also need to focus on giving up the foods that contain excessive calories in it. Today in this blog we will talk about a few such foods of our daily consumption that contributes to weight gain.

The three foods affecting the weight

  • Cookies 

The next edible substance that contributes to extra weight is one of our most favorites food called cookies. Cookies can go alongside the tea or coffee and they can also be eaten without anything. Though cookies taste sweet to our taste buds still may not be sweet for our health and weight. Cookies are sugar-rich snack which has a lot of calories that contributes to gaining weight.

Consuming one cookie may not be harmful to our health, but when cookies are eaten in large numbers it contributes to our weight gain. When we eat cookies we can’t stop at one, it makes us crave more. Cookies are made up of substances that have high calories. A person who is on a balanced diet may not realize why is he gaining weight though this may occur due to the consumption of cookies which has a lot of calories in them.

  • Rice/ Roti 

Rice is one of the most eaten staple food around India but surprisingly it contributes to gaining heavyweight. There were many classes about this factor that how does rice which is a staple food in many states of India can contribute to weight gain. Doctors have proved that it does contribute to gaining weight.

The fact is when the rise is the process of plucking and is served to the market the fiber from the rice is removed which results in tits glycemic index increase. And when this happens IT results in the breaking down of sugar in the body quickly and the sugar is released into the bloodstream and this as result causes the rising of calories within the body. Similarly, roti is also a staple food in India but it also contributes to weight gain. Roti has a lot of carbohydrates within it and when someone follows a diet chart they cut off the carbohydrates but in India roti is taken in a huge amount which results in gaining weight.

  • Sweets 

Sweet sweets are also a major Indian dish without which the nails of the Indian remain incomplete but the taking of these Weeks can result in a lot of in taking of calories too. Sweets are made up of sugar or the extracts of milk which are products rich in calories. This food containing a lot of sugar also contains a lot of calories. When a person is attaining a balanced diet they are seemed to abolish a lot of foods rich in carbohydrates or calories. But whenever after the meal they are consuming sweets the calorie level is triggered immediately which in return causes various heart diseases and also contributes to gaining of weight.

Calories contribute to weight and hence by taking sweets the weight is gained directly. Sweets not only contributes to gaining weight but also contributes to diabetes which causes a lot of problem in the heart.

As we have concluded this blog we can conclude that there is various type of foods that unknowingly contributes to our gaining excessive weight. It remains important to us to maintain a balanced diet where the intake of carbohydrate calorie protein vitamins and minerals will be in equal amounts. Excessive Calorie hampers the body weight which as result also hampers the maintenance of health.

As we can see in the blog tea and coffee which is our daily necessities contributes to our weight gain despite having caffein in them, when it is combined with fat-rich substances it contributes to extra weight.
